Goliath Resources

We first released an analyst report on Goliath Resources on February 10th, 2021 at $0.60, they're now trading at $0.87... a 45% gain.

But... here's the thing. We actually bought into Goliath AT A DISCOUNT, AND HAVE A 60.5% GAIN, INSTEAD OF 45%. Now, I know what you're thinking:

HOW DO I INVEST AT A DISCOUNT?!

It's simple. We invest with an instrument called a "Private Placement" or a "PIPE", which stands for:

P - Private
I - Investment [in a]
P - Public
E - Entity

Basically: a public company (like Goliath Resources) is raising money by selling their stock, because they need more cash to comfortably operate their business.

So, they come to experienced investors (in this case, a billionaire, and the Wealth Letter team), to invest in their PIPE. To incentivize us investors to buy from them privately, and not on the public market, they DISCOUNT the price of the shares, and throw in something called "warrants"...

In our case, it was a 8.5% discount on the stock, and warrants at $0.86.

Warrants are basically options the company grants you as an incentive for investing.

So, when Goliath is trading at $2 per share, we can "exercise" our warrants and make a profit of $1.14 per warrant.

Plus almost 400% on our initial, discounted investment (assuming they hit $2/share).

Make sense?

Basically, we buy in at a discount and get free bonuses along the way.

And, in this case, we invested alongside Eric Sprott, a billionaire.

Eric frequently buys into public companies, at a discount:

So what's the point of all this?
